Program Delivery & Scheduling
Rooted in Wellness programs are designed to be flexible and can be integrated into a variety of community settings based on your organization’s needs, goals, and schedule. Depending on the program selected, our courses may be offered in formats ranging from 4 to 16 weeks, allowing each community to choose the structure that best supports meaningful engagement and lasting impact.
Our workshops are typically offered as 2- to 4-hour sessions, depending on the topic, audience, and desired learning outcomes. Each experience is thoughtfully designed to provide practical education, hands-on tools, and meaningful connection.
Currently, all retreats and camps are hosted at Welburn Gourd Farm in Fallbrook, California, where participants experience wellness in a peaceful, nature-based setting. Please refer to “Wellness on the Farm” for additional details about our farm-based retreats, camps, and experiential wellness offerings.
Our evidence-based proprietary curriculum was thoughtfully designed to bring meaningful wellness education into the places where people already gather, learn, heal, and belong—including public, private, and charter schools; churches; recreation and senior centers; libraries; youth groups; community clubs; and enrichment programs for homeschool families. We recognize that many children, adults, seniors, and families—especially those in underserved communities—do not always have access to supportive wellness programs, nutrition education, mental well-being resources, or safe spaces where they can learn practical tools for healthier living. Rooted in Wellness helps fill that gap by offering compassionate,
accessible, and culturally responsive programming that meets people where they are. Our curriculum has been developed with great care, honoring the fact that every participant brings a different life experience, learning style, health journey, and emotional need into the room. Each lesson is trauma-informed, flexible, and designed to support discovery learning through encouragement, hands-on experiences, and compassionate guidance. By creating safe and welcoming learning environments, RIW helps participants build confidence, feel seen and supported, and gain the knowledge and skills needed to make meaningful, lasting changes in their health and well-being.
